The EFCL Planning department works hard to provide you with the right tools for community engagement and concise, accurate information when it comes to civic topics and issues.

Planning & Development Resources

"Before you can speak on behalf of your community, you must first find out what they think."

The planning and development resource guide provides community leagues with the tools to effectively engage their members and communities on civic and planning issues that may effect their communities or Edmonton as a whole.

These tools include the Community Consultation Guide plus the Edo Nyland Scholarship for free tution for planning academy courses.

Many of the articles, workshop and public engagement notices, and survey results relating to planning and development matters can be found under the News/Media link on the homepage.

As we continue, we will be adding more resourses to this area to provide you with the knowledge and tools to deal with a variety of civic topics or issues that you may be asked to respond to on behalf of your community.

Resources that resulted from the Mature Neighbourhood Overlay Workshop are located in the EFCL MNO Workshop Outcome folder below.
