EFCL Awareness Campaign
Show Your #yegCLspirit
As we continue to celebrate 100 years of Community Leagues in Edmonton, the EFCL has launched a marketing campaign to help recognize the impact that your Leagues have had on communities across our city.
The goal of the marketing campaign is to remind Edmontonians how much Community Leagues impact our city, both by building infrastructure for our communities as well as creating safer and more resilient neighbourhoods by offering programming and a sense of place. Through this campaign, we are hoping that people will take notice of what’s happening in their communities and become an active member of their community, either through the Leagues or through their own individual actions.
The marketing campaign has been rolled out digitally, through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and new channels like Spotify.
The campaign is inspired by the idea that individual actions inspire and strengthen communities; your actions help build the community around you. Our visuals are subtle nudges and reminders for people to take notice and action of their surroundings.
How You Can Participate
- Throughout the year, use any or all of the images found at http://bit.ly/yegCLspirit on your League’s social media channels. (If the link doesn’t work, please copy and paste the address into your browser)
- Caption the images with things that are happening in your Community League, or thoughts that can inspire individuals to participate
- Use the hashtag #yegCLspirit and tag the EFCL on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in your posts
