#yegCLDay2016 - join the #157Strong
More than 65 community leagues hosted events on Community League Day - Sept. 17, and the parties were spread from one end of Edmonton to the other. Some leagues held big events, while others took a more simple approach with pancake breakfasts or afternoon BBQs. Still others opted for outdoor movie nights and evening socials. Regardless of the event, the goal of each league is to bring their communities together - let neighbours meet neighbours, and to share with those neighbours just what community leagues are all about and encouraging neighbours to become more involved with their own community by becoming a league member. Along the way, they created some wonderful memories of the day.
Please enjoy the gallery of memories below, and if your league is not represented, please email photos to firstname.lastname@example.org - we will gladly add your league to the gallery.
Community League Day is about celebrating Edmonton's community leagues, their volunteers and bringing neighbours together in friendship. Many of the #157Strong hosted events and invited the entire neighbourhood. Here are some memories of this year's Community League Day (click on first photo to start gallery)
