Be a community builder!

Proceeds from this event will help support efforts to build the Community League Plaza in William Hawrelak Park.  Construction expected in late 2017 and 2018.

Do you have the cheerleader spirit!  Do you like to find ways to volunteer with your friends or your kids? We need volunteers before, during and after the race. Assist at the water station, kids play areas or hand out finisher ribbons.

Why are we hosting this event?

The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues’ annual Great Neighbour Race event is a fantastic event that brings communities together. It’s also a fundraiser. All net proceeds go to the EFCL 100th Anniversary Project which will be building the new Community League Plaza in William Hawrelak Park.

The plaza is about honouring Edmonton's 157 community leagues and the dedication to community building by their many volunteers over the past 100 years, plus all the future volunteers to come. Learn more about the project.
