Have Canoes, Will Travel
The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is very pleased to partner with the EFCL to offer unique lantern making workshops to various community leagues within the city. The lanterns created will be on display in our Lantern Gardens during the Flying Canoe Volant Festival from January 31 to February 2, 2019.
The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is one of Edmonton's signature winter festivals that celebrates local history, illuminated artworks and Indigenous, Métis and Francophone stories, legends and culture.
The 3-hour workshops will be lead by local artist Lynette Maurice and with assistance from one of our Festival Voyageurs!!
