DESCRIPTION:Healthy Backyards\, presented by Wild North\, is a one-hour-long\, free\, environmental education program. Customized to the Ridgewood area\, community members will be taught about: \n\nWhat species are present in our area (both plants and animals)\nThe role each species plays in the ecosystem and how they depend on one another\nHow to peacefully coexist with wildlife and how to have healthy interactions\nWhat to do if you encounter an injured\, ill or orphaned animal\nWhat we can do everyday in our own backyards to help wildlife\, promote biodiversity\, and support a healthy ecosystem\n\nThe presentation will run from 11-12 pm\, and the hall will be kept open from 12-1pm for attendees who would like to sit and chat about about the presentation afterwards. \nWe’re asking for those interested in coming to please RSVP so we know how many to expect: https://simpli.events/e/healthy-backyards
