This workshop is designed to help those leagues looking to build new halls or major renovations (over $1 million) with adding sustainability and durability thinking into this process. Shafraaz Kaba from Manasc Isaac Architects will be joining us to bring his experience with sustainable designing practices.
Community League Walking Program
Community League Walking Programs are a strategic expansion of a successful, trending initiative that is happening across Canada. To support walking programs in your community, the EFCL is offering two Urban Poling leadership training sessions this coming spring for free!
Registration begins January 5, 2018. A maximum of 20 spots are available for each session so register early!

Training Session for NEW Leaders
Date: Saturday, April 7, 2018
Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Community league members who participate in this training session will learn about topics such as urban pole technique, risk management, and route planning and become certified Urban Poling instructors for their community. A maximum of two members per league can register for this session.
Training Session for CURRENT Leaders
Date: Saturday, May 12, 2018
Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Community league members who were previously trained to lead urban pole walking sessions in their community can participate in a refresher session.
