We are absolutely thrilled to announce the results of our recent Membership Drive Challenge! The extraordinary energy and creativity of our Leagues have produced truly exceptional results: collectively, our member Leagues have nearly doubled the number of memberships sold compared to the same time last year!

This surge in engagement is a testament to the hard work of volunteers across the city, but we are excited to highlight the specific champions of this challenge.

We are proud to announce that West Meadowlark Community League has secured the title of Champion, and the $1,000 grand-prize, courtesy of Navacord (formerly LLoyd Sadd)

West Meadowlark’s success highlights the dedication that defines our movement. We understand their Membership Director, Dean, personally knocked on over 500 doors to connect with neighbours. We are honoured to reward that level of dedication- even if the prize money only works out to about two dollars a door!

The competition was incredibly fierce. Five other Leagues each also achieved a feat we did not think was possible when we launched this challenge: increasing their membership numbers by over 1,000%.

We would like to congratulate (in no particular order) our runners-up:

  • Eastwood Community League
  • High Park Community League
  • Mayfield Community League
  • Northmount Community League
  • Prince Rupert Community League

To support their continued growth, the EFCL is awarding each of these leagues six free months of the Communal software module of their choosing.

To everyone who participated: You are the beating heart of the Community League movement. We stand in awe of your accomplishments and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together for our communities in the coming year.
