Help us test a new way to find Community League resources
EFCL is piloting an AI-powered Resource Library assistant to help Community League board members and volunteers find relevant guides, templates, courses, webpages, and support more quickly.
This is an early test version. Your feedback will help us decide what works well, what needs improvement, and whether this tool should eventually be built directly into the EFCL Resource Library.
Access during the pilot
This test version is being provided through ChatGPT, so you will need to sign in to an existing ChatGPT account or create a free account to use it. If EFCL moves ahead with a final version built directly into the Resource Library, the goal would be for users to access it on the EFCL website without needing a ChatGPT account.
How the AI Resource Assistant works
The pilot is designed to answer Community League questions primarily using a curated set of EFCL master documents and approved EFCL resources. It is not configured to browse the open internet for answers. Where the available EFCL information does not provide a reliable answer, the tool is instructed to say so rather than guess, and to direct users to appropriate EFCL staff when needed.
General Privacy Tips for Using ChatGPT
Please do not enter confidential, sensitive, or personally identifying information into the pilot. Avoid including names of individuals, private board disputes, financial account information, passwords, personnel matters, or other confidential League information.
If you use a personal ChatGPT account, you can control whether new conversations are used to improve OpenAI’s models under Settings → Data Controls → Improve the model for everyone. Turning this off means new conversations will not be used for model training.
How to Test It

You will need to sign in to ChatGPT. A free ChatGPT account is enough to use shared GPTs.

Ask it questions you would normally ask when looking for Community League information. Try both easy and difficult questions.
Sample Questions:
“I’m new to my Community League board. Where do I start?”
“How do I prepare a budget?”
“Where can I find information about AGMs?”
“Tripartite”
“Two directors on our board are in conflict. What should we do?”
Ask something you already know the answer to.
Ask something you have previously struggled to find on the EFCL website.
