Make Every Event Special: Events and Programming Mentorship Cafe

Join our EFCL staff and Leagues from across the City at this virtual Mentorship Cafe. We’ll be sharing best practice and ideas for running successful events and programs in your neighborhood. From vendors and risk management to venue and live music — there are so many details to think about when organizing a great community event!
Come prepared to discuss:
- What events your League ran this year and lessons learned
- Upcoming events you’re planning
- Best practice, favourite vendors, promotion, food at the event, permits, event safety plans, and all those lists!
- Summer programming

Mentorship Cafés are a series of virtual spaces made available to Community League volunteers in a variety of board or volunteer positions. The purpose of these cafés is to bring volunteers together across Edmonton’s Community Leagues to share ideas, skills, resources, and experiences to help each other succeed in their roles.
