Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program – Events Component The Events Component of the Government of Canada’s Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program supports community-based public events that promote intercultural or interfaith understanding and celebrate community history or culture.

  • General Eligibility: Applications are open to registered non-profit organizations, municipalities, and Indigenous communities and organizations.
  • Maximum Funding: Up to $100,000 per fiscal year. For recurring events, a maximum of $200,000 per recipient can be requested across two fiscal years.
  • Deadline: February 18, 2026
