The planning and development resource guide provides Leagues with the tools to:

• Understand the planning and development process in Edmonton
• Engage their members and communities on civic and planning issues that may affect their neighbourhood or Edmonton as a whole
• Respond to development applications in their community
• Develop the skills to effectively liaise with decision makers and shape policy that impacts their community
• Understand past and current work on the EFCL’s Planning and Development Committee and how to get involved with this committee
• Apply for the EFCL’s Edo Nyland Scholarship to subsidize your attendance at the City of Edmonton Planning Academy classes

Resources will be uploaded to this page to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to deal with a variety of civic topics or issues that you may be asked to respond to on behalf of your Community League.
