Active, engaged and passionate about community
EFCL board members are Community League enthusiasts
They’re actively involved with their own Community Leagues, and believe that when neighbours come together we build a greater city for all.
The EFCL is governed by a 12-person volunteer board of directors
One director is elected by Community Leagues in each of 12 districts.
TERM
Board terms are two-years
*maximum of three consecutive terms
ROLES
The roles on the governing body are selected amongst the board:
- President
- Vice President External
- Vice President Internal
- Treasurer
DUTIES
Their duties are varied and may include consulting with Leagues, liaising with the City of Edmonton, governance, leading various committees, connecting with like-minded groups, plus promoting the Community League movement
