Healthy Backyards, presented by Wild North, is a one-hour-long, free, environmental education program. Customized to the Ridgewood area, community members will be taught about:

• What species are present in our area (both plants and animals)
• The role each species plays in the ecosystem and how they depend on one another
• How to peacefully coexist with wildlife and how to have healthy interactions
• What to do if you encounter an injured, ill or orphaned animal
• What we can do everyday in our own backyards to help wildlife, promote biodiversity, and support a healthy ecosystem

The presentation will run from 11-12 pm, and the hall will be kept open from 12-1pm for attendees who would like to sit and chat about about the presentation afterwards.
