What We’ve Learned: Diversity and Inclusion Mentorship Cafe
May 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Facilitated by the EFCL’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisor, this Mentorship Cafe will include a debrief of the learnings from our year-long Anti-Racism Project. This collaboration, funded by the City of Edmonton, supported four BIPOC organizations to partner with Community Leagues and create dialogue and learning in Community spaces.
We will hear from:
- Our amazing BIPOC partners: learn about what their organizations do in community and how your League can connect with them
- League volunteers that are working to make to make their Leagues more inclusive spaces
Peer discussion topics:
- How to bring more diversity to Leagues across Edmonton
- How to build on the work of this project in the coming year and years
- How to engage in anti-racism work at the neighborhood level

Mentorship Cafés are a series of virtual spaces made available to Community League volunteers in a variety of board or volunteer positions. The purpose of these cafés is to bring volunteers together across Edmonton’s Community Leagues to share ideas, skills, resources, and experiences to help each other succeed in their roles.
