I support the change to 40km/h, but we can do more to help support communities as they deal with shortcutting, speeding and other dangerous behaviours. I believe the Vision Zero model the City has adopted is working, and that by continuing to offer traffic safety activations to communities throughout the city, we can make steady progress to further reduce accidents and fatalities. The key to Vision Zero is maintaining momentum – we can’t let good results lure us into complacency.
