It takes many hands to make a community rink, and it took many Dovercourt residents to make the sign that won our inaugural So Nice They Made the Ice contest thanking all the volunteers who made their outdoor fun possible. After our panel of judges — CBC Edmonton AM host Mark Connolly, Edmonton Sport Council Executive Director Reed Clarke and our own EFCL Board Member/Chair of the Recreation Committee Jon Morgan — selected their sign, we were overjoyed to help them celebrate their win with an end-of-season party, complete with tasty treats and fun games courtesy of our equipment rental program.
